It all started so innocently. Once upon a night (Sunday, January 7, 2001, to be
exact),
I was sitting up in my room listening to music on my headphones, and I
thought, "Hey,
this song flows perfectly to the next song!" Several hours into
the twilight later, the Kim
Vu Mix CD was born. Since that historic moment, I've
been making mix CDs like a
maniac. The original intent was to capture what I was "feeling" at that
particular moment
in time (which is why each CD has a date and time recorded). But eventually, the
CDs
evolved into a compilation of new music that I was listening to, which in turn,
served as
the soundtrack of my life. So, in essence, these mix CDs are my version of a
journal —
which just so happens to include the best up-and-coming music.
