Masters in Music Education - Four Summers Option
To further meet the needs of the active public school music educator
(and others), Ball State is initiating a four-summer master’s degree
program. Accepted students have the option of completing the degree in
four summer sessions. Required courses are offered in a rotation that
allows for completion of the program during summer sessions only.
Sample Program Sequence
This sequence assumes the following:
- Theory and History Placement Tests are passed.
(if not, Review Courses must be taken in addition to the prescribed
outline of courses)
- The Thesis Option (6 credits) for the Final Project.
Other options are available, but will involve 3-6 additional credit
hours in lieu
of the 6 credit hour thesis project.
