|
The "Pride of Mid-America" Marching Band is one of the nation's great college marching bands. Comprised of more than 200 student musicians, the band is an integral and exciting part of the tradition and spirit at Ball State University. Utilizing an extremely versatile marching style, the band is capable of performing traditional drill, as well as the latest in contemporary show design. Performances include all home football games, one away game each season, NFL games and additional exhibition performances on the BSU campus and throughout the state of Indiana. The "Pride" is open to all BSU students regardless of major with the band's membership representing virtually every academic curriculum on the BSU campus. While there is no audition requirement for marching band wind sections, the drumline, color guard and Cardette Dance Team are selected by audition only.
