"The
Silver Whistle"
I only did one play in high school, and this was it! I was cast in the role of
Emma, the bum, which much to my surprise was a leading role! It was
actually a role written for
a man, but we made a few adjustment, and it
worked out wonderfully. I was really nervous that night, and
I thought that the play was going off flawlessly until I came to the
line,
"Fill your pockets full of food and let's get out of here!"
I, of course, exclaimed, "Fill your food full of pockets and let's get
out of here!"
No one in the entire audience noticed, save my
sister. She still ridicules me to this day.
From left to right: Nice coat, right? Yeah, that's from my
closet. Above is a picture of the entire cast and crew.
EmJ, a fellow senior, and I decorating the stage.
In most of my scenes, Nathan was the only other person on stage.
Angela, Erica, Adriene, me, and Emily: The seniors of The Silver Whistle.
